The idea of paying less than twenty bucks for a table tennis racket, well, most of us occasionally serious players really wouldn't want to experiment with it. I mean, the more money one spends, the better his game should be, right? So why buy a $19 racket when you can buy one for a hundred bucks or more? I wanted to see what this could do. The one thing I noticed about this paddle is the control. Much better than any other racket I own. I like to spin the ball. A lot! But I do give up control by purchasing and using those rackets. This one spins but still, I have far more control over where I want to put the ball. Even more control on returning slams. I am impressed and will be using this a lot.

Good solid intermediate TT racket for both defensive and offensive play. Racket is light enough for quick response. Rubber produces enough spin for good control without excessive effort. Racket construction absorbs energy making return shots more predictable.

This was a promotion from standard issue rackets that came with the ping pong table. Ever since I have had this, the quality of my serves, shots and rally's have improved significantly. The amount of spin I get is phenomenal. Also it helps me have better control over where my shots and returns are placed especially with high top-spins. Overall it has motivated me to play the game more often that I have done before.

This racket is only good for beginners, that is, children starting to play table tennis, and adults playing for fun. If you wish to start playing table tennis on a slightly more advanced level, then the purchase of this racket should be skipped.

I bought the Naifu for my son who is beginning to play the sport and not to borrow racket from the gym. I like the feel of the flared handle. This is good racket to begin with becuase it has good control and consistency. Lets you work with your hitting form and power - therefore not depending much on the speed of the rubber but swing of the user. Great for beginners.

Awesome case. Fits my Butterfly Senshu paddle perfectly. I like how the inside protects the rubber with a nice, soft interior.

This case does a decent job in protecting your TT racket. The zipper is smooth and the cushioning is fairly ok to give adequate protection. However, if you are having a slightly over-sized racket or a thick handle, this case might be a bit too tight. It would have been great if this case had a strap. Overall good value for money and Amazon as ever shipped it super fast!

I suppose like the other reviewer said, a hard case would be best to protect your paddle, but also more expensive. I like the look of this case, and its well made. I'm certainly no "case-expert", but I'm happy with this one.

The Butterfly is a normal TT racket case with a foam protective layer. It protects the racket from typical dust and rubbing about on things but if you have a nice racket, a hard case is recommended.

Speed: This paddle is a bit on the slow side. Control: The control is excellent. Spin: Spin is medium. I think this is a good beginners paddle for those who don't rely too much on spin.

This is a really nice paddle for beginners. my friend bought the exact same thing because he liked my paddle too. this paddle is not so sticky though... and it is not too soft or too hard. good for control indeed. the only problem is that it wont give a good spin. it has a really nice color combination, light and easy to handle. i would recommend beginners to start with this paddle. advanced players might want to get something depending on what they need.

Very good for the price and quality. Highly recommend!!! - you can feel the difference in spinning and attack...

I'm disappointed with this racket because , its too light and just doesnt feel enough for a intermediate level player like me.. This bat is suitable for beginners only.

It is not a racket for advanced players. This racket is not good for spin.

This racket is a steal for $15. Pros: I was very pleased with the distribution of the weight in the paddle. My serves were exceptionally accurate and I could get some strong spin on the ball. Well constructed Cons: It was quite heavy and the wood was pretty cheap feeling. The heaviness of the racket hurt my accuracy but I will adapt to it the more I play with it. Overall: I could not expect more for the price I paid for this and I am very pleased with it. I will want to upgrade in the next few months though.

Very nice racket as advertised. I love the curved handle grip. The rubber is excellent and seems to grab the ball with its tackiness. Cleaning with a little dish detergent and water after each use restores the tacky feel of the rubber surface. My game improved immensely with this racket and I have continued to dominate players that I was on an even level with previously. Highly recommended.

Okay first things first if you're used to crappy Walmart paddles like I am it'll definately take some time getting used to this paddle. You barely have to touch the ball for it to go zooming at your opponent. Other than the awesome spin and control, the only flaw with these high end paddles is YOU MUST MAINTAIN THEM. I cannot tell you how important maintenance is on high end rubber. I did not even think paddles needed maintenance until after 3 months of using this paddle, the rubber started feeling like the Walmart rubber because the rubber absorbed all the dust, and other particles from my hand and in the air. Make sure after every use that you either use the air from your breath technique to clean it or get a sponge and clean with small amount of water or else your paddle will be ruined like mine is now.

In February me and my siblings bought a ping pong table for my Dads 50'th, he apparently used to be really good when he was in the air force, which we later discovered he was very good. After buying some stiga paddles (4 for $32) it became obvious that I was becoming alot better. I was spinning and slamming and played on offense alot, so after a ton of begging my Dad finally decided to get me this paddle. Boy what a difference, compared to the stiga and this its a night and day difference. I find my spins more effective and easier to see, my serves and returns are harder to hit back and faster. But the highlight is the slamming capabilities of this beast. My slams are a zillion times faster then they were with my stiga! Though I'm still getting used to the handle I'm looking forward to when I can really tame this beast and use its power. In my view this is a great upgrade paddle for a intermediate player.

I have used this racket for about 1 week now, so kinda getting the hang of things. Well I quit playing table tennis for about 6 years and now I am trying to get back on track. I am an intermediate level player and so wanted something before I could go and buy rubbers and blades and glue it myself. As for the racket it has good speed and might I add a nice sound when you go for those drives. The racket is very light which is great. I was surprised at the ease at which I was able to loop the ball given the fact it has been a while since I played. Even the smashes seemed to be going right most of the time. I would say that the only gripe I had was controlling the ball (maybe it might just be me). I was finding it hard returning a spin/chop and even chopping was becoming difficult. In all fairness if you plan on staying at the beginner/basement level player level it is a great racket but if you want to move up and know your playing style ask around and find the rubber to suit your style of play (eg. Sriver or Bryce for speed, Tackiness or Tackfire for spin and a decent blade to go with it). I would say you might end up spending about $30 more but at least you wont regret the racket you are playing with. I plan on getting the new Tenergy 64 rubber and back it up with the Boll Tricarbon Blade (both from butterfly). If you need something to suit a lower budget try the Friendship/729 series.

As relatively novice players, we had been using inexpensive Panda KillShot paddles, and we were amazed at the difference these Kenji rackets made. Not only is the surface very grippy, the ball shoots off the thing at incredible speed. We wanted to make sure the difference was real, so we compared dropping a ball on this and the Panda racket from the same height. It wasn't even close. The curved handle takes some getting used to. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. It took a few hours of play before we felt comfortable with these rackets. We haven't tried any of the other $50 range rackets, so maybe they are all this good. (We got ours during the T-day sale, so they were much cheaper then...) But we were definitely impressed. It's definitely a huge step up for the beginning player...

Butterfly Hardfull Table Tennis Racket Case II (Black) Butterfly Hardfull Table Tennis Racket Case II (Black)

PROS: All materials are high quality (zipper, handle, strap, shell, inside material). The case is aesthetically pleasing. It provides protection from elements and from accidental dings and drops. CONS: NOT as hard as it looks (the shell is made of a strange material that has enough give to classify it as a "not-quite-hard case"). The elastic strap that holds down the racket is awkwardly placed and partially touches the bottom of the rubbers. It is difficult to get out your racket without touching the rubbers Overall it is a great case, but don't be fooled: the shell is not as hard as it seems!

As the case's name implies, it actually is hard. However, it's not as robust in real life as online pictures make it out to be. The pictures make it seem like it's a really thick, hard plastic. Personally, I have no idea what it is (some sort of a woven cloth covers the shell), but it does have some give to it unlike what I expected. Anyway, the first function of _any_ case is primarily for the sake of protecting your racket from exposure to the environment (air hurts typical paddle rubber slowly over time), and this case does that. What it also does is the best job of performing the secondary function--that is, protection from accidental force-induced damage. The shell does make a difference, regardless that it's not as strong as it looks from pictures. Yes, it's expensive, but it's worth it relative to the almost-uselessly soft and bag-like other "cases", especially considering every single component, from the carrying strap to the inside mesh pouch and paddle-securing band, is high-quality.
