I play ping-pong at work, for fun (or so I say...). I bought this paddle since the ones at lose quality since they're used so often, and abused. I've been very happy with this purchase. It was inexpensive, but feels like a quality made paddle. It has a beautiful sound, and I don't have anything negative to report about it. Game on, friends!

The idea of paying less than twenty bucks for a table tennis racket, well, most of us occasionally serious players really wouldn't want to experiment with it. I mean, the more money one spends, the better his game should be, right? So why buy a $19 racket when you can buy one for a hundred bucks or more? I wanted to see what this could do. The one thing I noticed about this paddle is the control. Much better than any other racket I own. I like to spin the ball. A lot! But I do give up control by purchasing and using those rackets. This one spins but still, I have far more control over where I want to put the ball. Even more control on returning slams. I am impressed and will be using this a lot.

Good solid intermediate TT racket for both defensive and offensive play. Racket is light enough for quick response. Rubber produces enough spin for good control without excessive effort. Racket construction absorbs energy making return shots more predictable.

This was a promotion from standard issue rackets that came with the ping pong table. Ever since I have had this, the quality of my serves, shots and rally's have improved significantly. The amount of spin I get is phenomenal. Also it helps me have better control over where my shots and returns are placed especially with high top-spins. Overall it has motivated me to play the game more often that I have done before.

This racket is only good for beginners, that is, children starting to play table tennis, and adults playing for fun. If you wish to start playing table tennis on a slightly more advanced level, then the purchase of this racket should be skipped.

I actually received the wrong product. My package only came with two paddles and two balls. I did not contact the company or send it back because I needed it for a birthday party and did not open it until that day. For what it is worth, the paddles and balls where in perfect condition and we used them.

I found this paddle set to be more than adequate for the begginer/novice and recreational player level. Been using them now for several weeks and they are holding up just fine.

This product was solid and the price was excellent. The racquets are a cut above the cheap kind without padding--very good for a starter set. I am really pleased overall with the price and quality. Also included were balls and a net, above average quality.

this is a really good tennis table product. it's durable and you would have a net, 3 free balls and 4 rackets! and its PRINCE!

This set is very good for beginning players because it has dual sides. One side has bumps raised which gives better control, the other has bumps in which allows for more spin. Both sides have sponge, but I only gave it a 3 because of the net. The clamp hinges for the net is a low quality.

I just got this paddle, and I find that it has immediately improved my game overall. I ordered this paddle in hopes that it would improve my game, especially my spin; to my satisfaction, it has greatly increased the amount of spin I put on the ball so that instead of just missing the edge of the table, I can pin the ball right on the edge. This paddle is, in my opinion, ideal for the player who spins the ball most of the time when he plays. In terms of control, I find this paddle very good as well; however, I can only use it for control and defense if I put some form of spin on the ball. For those who prefer to play defensively and just let the ball bounce of the paddle, this racket's power will send it flying so long as there is no spin on the ball. The only problem with this paddle, as everyone else has identified, is the extremely weak and fragile rubber. One accidental hit of the rim of the paddle on the table or any other hard surface, and this rubber will inevitably rip. So long as you keep care not to hit it against any surfaces, though, the rubber will be fine, and even upon ripping the edges, it has no effect on your game. Besides this one flaw, I love this paddle, and I would recommend it to anyone who primarily spins the ball.

I really like this bat, everyone does. but I really do believe the rubber is really easy to tear as I see a lots of missing bit at the side.

First off this paddle is delivered in a box just telling everyone because that one review saying it didn't come in one. Well me and my friend wanted to step our game up from these really bad rubber paddles we got at dick's sporting goods so we looked online and thought the senshu would be great for us. When we got it on my front porch and opened it we were so excited. The rubber is very tacky and lint and dust easily gets caught on it so make sure to wipe it down with a damp sponge but not too damp. Get this paddle if you feel like you need much more spin on your serves or top spin drives. Be ready though because this thing is so hard to control at first. When me and my friend were serving it to each other the spin was magnified. If it was a side spin it would shoot across after hitting the paddle but we got use to the spin and learned soon how to counter it in a hour or too. So buy this paddle if you're wanting to improve your control very much~ Love this paddle

I was recently borrowing a friend's Kenji racket, I loved it but I was still kinda off on my smashes. I tried to get the Kenji on Amazon but it was sold out. But after reviewing other paddles I think with the stats on the Senshu it would be good for me and I was totally right. I had it for 3 days and it took me a day to adjust. It is heavier than the Kenji. 90% of my smashes are landing now and I haven't lost yet out of 40 games. The people I played against usually win 50/50 of the games we play, but now, they are trying real hard to win. Oh, the control on this paddle is really hard but its coming. some of the games I allow people to smash so I can practice control. But overall I'm on top of my game with this paddle. I love it.

I'm no pro at table tennis but I wanted a better paddle to advance my game. I love this paddle.

good beginners book covering basic forward hand, backhand, ect. but, does not cover some needed pointers. however, i haven't seen any book that covers all the aspects of each of the strokes adequately. therefore, highly recommended.

This book will tell you everything that you ever wanted to know about how to improve your table tennis game. Easy to read, and has many helpful drawings to illustrate the point being made. Covers the basics as well as advanced concepts. Each chapter contains many drills to help the reader master the different types of strokes and strategies.

I could see that this could be a good book if you were brand new to table tennis and had a coach. Good drills for practicing with similarly leveled players. However, I feel book does not accurately describe how to truely improve your stroke. Descriptions tend to be vague and leave it to the player to experiment to get the result they are looking for. The danger for the player without a coach is that common early bad habits that are effective for begginers will become engrained. Also, the strategy section is not as good as in other TT books.

I found the book to be very helpful and informative. I have just begun playing competitively for the past year and found that the graphics/steps really have helped my game. I'd recommend this book to anyone who is just developing their game. I have bought other table tennis books, but they lacked the graphics this book has, so I am very happy with this purchase.

This book is one of the best book on table tennis that I have ever read. The clear and concise text makes this book very readable. While you may not turn into a table tennis champion overnight, following the instructions by Mr. Hodges by disciplined practice, a newcomer to the sport can learn the game, but it can also be used as a reference for intermediate players to correct their stroke or to improve it. This book is useful not only because it explains the different strokes but it also contains sections on physical training and tactics against different style of play.Table Tennis: Steps to Success is a must-have in any table tennis player's library.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these balls. They are as good as most 3-star balls. They are quite fast through the air too. I would definitely recommend this to any beginner-intermediate skilled player.

well, I expected these ping pon balls to be better in quality. One was cracked, and a coupe were somewhat misshapen. The others were good.

I just bought my first ping pong table and it is used primarily by young kids playing their first games of ping pong. Given those facts, I wanted cheap paddles to get the kids started on. I bought 4 paddles. 3 of them are great. The 4th had a big flap of paddle rubber peeling back when I opened it. I glued it back and now it seems fine. That was a lot less hassle then packing it up for a return but it's not that cool to open a brand new paddle and find it defective. I hope my glue job stands up to the beating my twins will give this paddle.

We just bought a ping-pong table and needed some racquets quick. I picked these because the price was right & the reviews were great. We played for a few minutes with them the day they arrived. The NEXT day, my son pointed out that one of the layers of wood was already peeling back from from one of the racquets. I do agree with the other reviewer that stated the racquets are heavy. If they weren't coming apart, I'd say they were a nice racquet for the price.

The paddle has a pimpled surface(not a smooth surface). It is also padded. This paddle is on the heavy side, so you will most likely have to get used to it. Good quality for the price.

The Gamecraft 2.0 mm paddle is phenomenol! When I saw this paddle my inner voice said to me "Dude, this paddle will make you invincible." I had entered the ping pong tournament at the local community center. I needed a new paddle to dominate. I WILL be Thor.. and this paddle will be my hammer. The current champ, 75 year old McDoogal, was going to be out for a hip replacement. It was my time to shine. With the Gamecraft 2.0 mm I will claim the throne. I ordered my paddle a couple weeks in advance. I needed to properly bond with the Gamecraft 2.0 mm. I wore it like a six shooter on my hip. Ready for action at the slightest challenge. For two weeks we slept together, ate together, did everything together. I talked to it. Sometimes it spoke back. I was very close to being ready. The only thing missing was the proper outfit to perfectly compliment my Gamecraft 2.o mm. This worked for me. Ping pong is the game of kings. That day there was only one king in the room. I mowed through the competition like they were butter. I was a Jedi Master... with the Gamecraft 2.0 mm for a light sabre. There were comments on my outfit but I just brushed them off. They were just jealous they hadn't thought of it. A little tip: Before the tournament begins go over to the basket of balls and speak to them. Let your Gamecraft 2.0 mm speak to them. Come to an understanding. Feel the balls. Be the balls. I was accused of cheating because of this.. There is nothing in the rule book that makes this illegal Sally Mae. You loser. I have the trophy. Thanks Gamecraft 2.0 mm. Can't wait till next month. Great paddles for casual game play. Well worth the money if you're not playing competitively.
