This table tennis is perfect if you already have a pool table and want a ping pong table but don't have the space for both!! We just took it out of the box and put it on the pool table and the kids were playing in a matter of minutes!! Best purchase ever!!!

I ordered this conversion top to use on our pool table and it works great. Very pleased with the shipping and service from this vendor. My husband & his friends play pool and now me and my friends can play ping pong.

Killerspin Aurora Table Tennis Net and Post Set Killerspin Aurora Table Tennis Net and Post Set

Reviews

The killer spin aurora net and post set is a contradiction: good quality posts and poor quality net. The bolt that tightens up against the table is fairly heavy duty, and should last. The net, however, was not very good out of the box; that is, it is somewhat thin and doesn't tighten very well against the posts. We used it at our club for a month, and people started complaining (too many easy net shots), so we bought a different brand (DHS) instead. You are not going to get a quality net under $50 unless you get some super sale. Sadly, sometimes one has to remember you get what you pay for.

Professional looking. Made our cheap table better. It holds the table together. The way to go.

While the net itself seems like a good cloth-like quality, looks great, and at first glance the net posts seem strong and durable, I would not recommend this Net Set for serious competitive play. The groove where the net string sits, to allow you to adjust net tension is far too shallow to provide a solid place for the string to sit. This would result in the net string frequently slipping out of the groove, thus ruining your net tension. Not to mention, I was not satisfied with the quality of some of the other components of the set. Overall, for recreational play at home, this net set is not all that bad for the price. Considering a really good set can set you back anywhere from $80-$150. That said, after a little digging I was able to find a much higher quality product at a cheaper price than this one from another online table tennis retailer.

great product very easy to setup, excellent quality, built to last, and great looking on my table, 100% recommended.

I am pleased with the Killer Spin net. The brackets are thick and durable and the net has a string at the top to keep the net taught. Great deal for the price.

This is probably the best table tennis net I have ever purchased. In fact, I hardly did anything with the strings to adjust the net tension. Setting it up was a breeze and the net was taut and perfect with minimal adjustments. The clamp is made up of solid steel construction and clamped on to the table like a leech. Super fast shipping by Amazon in a great package! I am buying 2 more for my club

This is easily the best net I've ever used. Perfect for situations where your table must be folded and moved to a new location each time you play. That's our setup where I play. Previous nets we've used lasted about a year before the posts would break. The clamp mechanism here hugs the table tightly with a strong spring, so tension of the net is never a problem. I don't understand the user who posted problems with net tensioning. It's totally simple. A steel rod goes inside the looped ends of the net, and then slides down the post into place. So, clamp on the posts, insert the rods into the end loops of the net, slide the ends into the hollow posts, then adjust fine tuning of the net tension with the top string extending from the ends of the net, and attaching to little notches in the post base. Presto. Easy, and works great every time. This post/net setup may well outlast the table, since there are no stress points at all! I'm buying another for my local clubhouse...

This seems like a sturdy clip on table tennis net. It even comes with a carrying case. However, there are no instructions whatsoever for installing and tightening the net. I went online looking everywhere for any kind of instructions--even from other companies--but I found none. So the net is pretty useless at this point. I am disappointed.

Kettler 7096-100 VARIO Table Tennis Net Kettler 7096-100 VARIO Table Tennis Net

My advice is to stick with the clamp grip posts so they can be used on any table without any problems or having to make a home made adjustment just to make it fit.

We tried to replace an old net on Kettler table with a cheaper variety but it sagged and we had no ability to tighten as necessary. So it is worth paying extra to get this style for the Kettler table.

This net works perfect on Kettler tables, just don't leave it in the sun or it will rot

The net came quickly in the mail and was exactly as described - great service and I would recommend it Thank you

This net is perfect for those of us that don't have a permanent spot for the table. It is very easy to take on & off the table. No screws to turn. No clamps. The design keeps the net taut with a minimum of hardware. I have had my table for over ten years and am on my second net, which is pretty good durability.

Butterfly 8292 Shido (Japanese Penhold) Table Tennis Racket Butterfly 8292 Shido (Japanese Penhold) Table Tennis Racket

This is a beginner's blade - I have one similar to this when I was 6 years old. I saw a comment about this not recommended for beginner. Would a serious player use this pre-assemble blade? The rubber is designed to be for all round purposes. I have played competitively in my younger days. I left my own blade, which is Butterfly Senkoh-1 Japanese Style which I paired it with a Yasaka Mark V rubber, in my home country and never thought that I would be challenged a game or two in the US. I thought of having it shipped to me here in the US but it would be too much trouble, and this bat appears to be reasonable for non-competitive play. If you are a penholder who uses Japanese style blade and you are a beginner (or not playing competitively), this bat is for you. However, if you are a much more advanced player who like either heavy topspin or backspin, you will be greatly disappointed with its ability. As this is designed for beginners, it does have good control and it is extremely light. The flipped side is they does not give you enough spin, speed and power. For the asking price and if you just play for fun.... sure, go for it.

My wife uses the penhold and I use the handshake grip. Previously, we both used the handshake rackets until a gentleman noticed her grip and offered to loan her his new penhold racket to try out. Needless to say, she loved the feel and we immediately searched the Internet for the same racket and bought it. It has made a huge difference, especially that she is a tiny person with small hands and this made the grip much more natural and comfortable for her. The only drawback is that this racket is covered with rubber on the front side only. She is planning on buying another penhold racket for her collection with rubber on both sides.

Ok, so it's not expensively made and looks it. However, I can realistically play with it almost as well as I can with my Senkho Proline, and I actually practice with the Shido to save wear and tear on the Senkho's rubber. The rubber on the Shido is not the best, but I think beginners would actually benefit from the slower, more controllable feel it provides, versus a high-end rubber that is often too fast for them. The average intermediate will play just as good a game with this racket, and after changing rubber it makes a fantastic backup for your main TT weapon. You can't beat it for this price.

This is a great paddle for making desperate shots. Shots from a distance take a little bit of uumph to get over the net, but its worth having those shots drop right over the net. For up close play its good at returning shots and having them go right where you want them. The one negative I have about this paddle is its extremely weak. I've only had it about a month and I've put several dents in it. The layers of maple cracked on one side and split apart after I hit the table once. So all i have to say is if you're a serious player you probably don't have to worry about hitting the table, but if you're an amateur enthusiast be careful of making wild shots because this isn't exactly the most durable of paddles lol.

It was a pain using a Shakehand Paddle for the Japanese Penhold grip. I find it much easier using my Japanese Penhold grip paddle than using a Shakehand Paddle because of the shape of the grip, the material of the grip, and the space between the grip place and the rubber. This is worth the buy for a Japanese Penholder looking for a very cheap paddle.
