I'm the typical kind of beginner that can beat most everyone in the rec rooms, but I get beat a lot when I go to a club where the guys are really good. So I've got a ways to go in terms of reaching an intermediate level. As I've gotten back into Table Tennis I've tried various Butterly paddles. Out of all the paddles I've tried I like the Seemiller the best, but it is too much for me right now (btw, the Seemiller has now been discontinued and not sure what the equivalent is) so I started trying out the Kyoshi I bought my son. It is probably the most lightweight paddle I've tried, and the handle feels really comfortable. It has just enough pop to hit some hard shots, but it is geared mostly for control, and this is what I need right now. I'm keeping more balls on the table with the Kyoshi, and my backhand is a lot better with it. I'm going to put the Seemiller up and work my way up to it. If you're a beginner in terms of just picking up the game or you find yourself like me in the lower tiers at your local club then the Kyoshi is a great paddle while you're trying to get down all the basics. As you improve you'll want to graduate to something with more power for slams and better rubber for spins, but that's going to take you awhile, and the kyoshi will be a great paddle until you get there. I ordered me a new kyoshi a few days ago so I wouldn't have to keep using my sons. I got it from a partner of Amazon called [...] for a very good price.

Pros: Great control, slow (slow speed suits my style of play), inexpensive Cons: Zero spin I am a club-level player that plays occasionally these days. I bought this racket to replace an old Kung-fu from India. I immediately found my edge back with solid control - I have not yet come across a racket with better control. It is slow but that suits my style as I generate a lot of pace with my strokes. The big drawback with this racket is its remarkably poor spin. I worked hard to generate spin. I can generate heavy top spin strokes with anything but this racket! I guess I will be replacing the rubber very soon. Still, it is rather inexpensive and likely worth the price.

This was my first racquet in USA and i am glad i bought it. Initially i did not like the racquet since it did not have good racquet speed. But slowly i adjusted to it and started liking it. I liked the control it provided while returning smashes. It also provided decent spin and speed.

It's a really light paddle that has great control and speed. It's great for players that are always on the offensive like myself. However, it doesn't produce that much spin so you'll be relying on speed for most of your shots which might be somewhat limiting as your skill level and of those that you play with increases. You'll have to add a lot more motion than when using other paddles to get the spin that you want. It makes countering heavy spins a pain too. I'd recommend the paddle for beginners who want to develop an aggressive playing style or for players with already well developed spinning techniques who want a paddle for speed and don't mind putting extra effort into spinning the ball.

Product came just as described in image/description. Good shipping, and highly satisfied with the overall transaction. Would buy again more seller in the future.
